In this project, we were introduced to Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. The objective was to create five posters for a panel series that visually told a story using pixel-based concepts and typographic form. Staying within the theme of the first two projects, I decided to tell the story of the evolution of the guitar pickup. For each panel, I decided to highlight milestones and take the viewer on a journey that will take them from the first prototype to the modern pickup. Although structurally, the panels have a similar form and layout, each panel presents distinct elements and colors to captivate the viewer. I also wanted the guitar pickup to be the central focus. To achieve this, unedited photographs of the pickups were used, contrasting with altered or manipulated images in the surrounding composition.
